Travellers Autobarn’s Brisbane depot is in Hendra, while JUCY and Star RV list the same address in Eagle Farm. All three depots are away from the airport terminals. The table compares their vehicle ranges, pickup arrangements and rental conditions.
A bond is money held against possible hire costs. An excess is the amount you may have to pay for damage or loss under the rental agreement. Neither figure alone covers every possible liability, so check the terms for your vehicle and booking dates.

Confirm the selected vehicle’s capacity and equipment. | Brisbane drop-offs are listed for Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns, Darwin and Perth. Route availability and any fee depend on the quote. | The company advertises rentals for drivers aged 18–80. Australian residents need a Green P licence or higher. International licences are accepted; if the licence is not in English, an official translation or International Driving Permit is required. | The FAQ lists Standard Protection with a $3,500 bond and Protection Plus at $30–$35 per day with a $0 bond. The company says liability can exceed the bond in specified circumstances. Rooftop damage is excluded. |

The FAQ’s general location-flexibility information excludes Perth. | Drivers must be 21–75 and hold a full English-language licence or Australian Green P (P2). Learner, Red P and P1 licences are excluded. A non-English licence must be accompanied by an International Driver Permit or a NAATI-approved certified translation, as well as the original licence. | Bond amounts depend on vehicle category and booking terms. The FAQ says Stress Free, Stress Free Plus or Comprehensive options require no security bond at pickup. A public-holiday pickup or drop-off surcharge is disclosed at booking. |
These details come from the companies’ Brisbane pages and FAQs. A fleet list shows the models a provider offers, not which model will be available for a particular booking. JUCY and Star RV publish the same Eagle Farm street address; a shared address does not show that they operate as one branch.
Getting to the depot
None of the three Brisbane locations is described as an airport-terminal rental counter. Travellers Autobarn says vehicles are collected and returned at depots, and names public transport or taxi and rideshare services as ways to get there. Its standard Brisbane hours show the depot closed on Sundays and public holidays. The company FAQ says out-of-hours arrangements can be requested, but they require confirmation.
JUCY gives directions from Brisbane Airport to its Eagle Farm branch. Collect and return the vehicle during the published branch hours. Its return instructions include refuelling and, where relevant, emptying the toilet cassette and grey-water tank at an authorised dump station.
Star RV suggests a taxi or rideshare, public transport or a drop-off at its branch. It says there is no onsite parking for a renter’s personal vehicle, and pickup and return must occur during opening hours. The page does not establish an airport shuttle service. Its public-holiday hours apply when the branch is open, and a separate surcharge applies to public-holiday pickup or drop-off.
Check the booking-specific terms
The published fee information is not directly comparable across all three companies. Travellers Autobarn gives a bond and daily price for named protection options, while JUCY’s Brisbane page confirms that a credit card is required for a bond without stating its amount. Star RV says the bond depends on the vehicle and booking terms, and identifies options with no bond at pickup. Treat one-way charges and Star RV’s public-holiday surcharge as quote-specific; the pages do not give one universal amount.
JUCY’s terms page separates bookings confirmed or amended on or after 1 May 2026 from earlier bookings. Its current Brisbane page does not establish a minimum driver age, bond amount or full licence rules, so use the agreement that applies to the booking rather than relying on older terms. Star RV states a minimum hire period that varies with season, vehicle and demand. The Brisbane pages do not state a single current minimum hire period for Travellers Autobarn or JUCY.
The Brisbane pages and FAQs do not state mileage limits, child-restraint terms or road-access rules for every vehicle and booking. Check those conditions in the applicable rental agreement, especially if the trip includes remote roads or requires a child restraint. For Travellers Autobarn, also account for the explicit rooftop-damage exclusion when choosing parking and checking height clearances.
