If you’re comparing JUCY rentals in Australia, check which branches serve your route, the listed vehicle layouts and how booking terms affect the cost. JUCY lists six branches but doesn’t say which models are assigned to each.
JUCY’s Australian location pages and Customer Booking Terms and Conditions, valid from 1 May 2026, set out the rental rules. They apply to bookings confirmed or amended on or after that date. JUCY directs customers with earlier bookings to the version that applied to them.
JUCY branches and airport access
JUCY’s Australian location pages list these six branches, addresses, opening hours and approximate drive times from nearby airports.
| Branch | Published address | Published hours | JUCY’s stated drive from airport |
|---|---|---|---|
| Adelaide | 25–27 Kinkaid Avenue, Adelaide, SA 5037 | Monday–Friday 9 am–3 pm; Saturday 9 am–2 pm; Sunday closed | About 10 minutes from Adelaide Airport |
| Brisbane | 769 Kingsford Smith Drive, Brisbane, QLD 4009 | Monday–Friday 9 am–3 pm; Saturday–Sunday 9 am–2 pm | About 10 minutes from Brisbane Airport |
| Cairns | 55 Dutton Street, Cairns, QLD 4870 | Monday–Friday 9 am–3 pm; Saturday–Sunday 9 am–2 pm | About 10 minutes from Cairns Airport |

| Perth | 65 Worrell Ave, Perth, WA 6057 | Monday–Friday 9 am–3 pm; Saturday–Sunday 9 am–2 pm | About 10 minutes from Perth Airport |
| Sydney | 1799 Botany Road, Sydney, NSW 2019 | Monday–Friday 9 am–3 pm; Saturday–Sunday 9 am–2 pm | About 10 minutes from Sydney Airport |
These are street addresses described in relation to airports, rather than confirmed terminal counters. JUCY’s Australian location pages do not state that a shuttle runs between the airports and these branches. Allow for the transfer to the branch when planning a flight-day pickup.
Under JUCY’s current terms, renters must arrive at the pickup time shown in their booking confirmation and within the branch’s business hours. Inspect the vehicle before leaving and report any damage-record or equipment discrepancies straight away. Return it to the booked drop-off branch by the stated time. JUCY allows a one-hour grace period within business hours; after that, it charges an additional full day’s hire.
Campervans and motorhomes
JUCY’s Australian website publishes the following models and sleeping capacities. A “berth” refers to a sleeping place.
| Brand on JUCY’s site | Vehicle type | Published models |
|---|---|---|
| JUCY | Campervans | Coaster, 2 berth; Crib+, 4 berth; Condo, 4 berth |
| Chill’d by JUCY | Campervans | Cloudbreak, 2 berth; Malibu, 2 berth; Sunseeker, 4 berth; Big Kahuna, 6 berth |
| Star RV | Motorhomes | Polaris, 2 berth; Polaris, 4 berth; Polaris, 6 berth |
JUCY lists 2- and 4-berth campervans; Chill’d by JUCY also lists a 6-berth campervan; and Star RV lists Polaris motorhomes in 2-, 4- and 6-berth layouts. The published model list does not assign vehicles to individual branches. Compare the exact model and layout shown in a quote, as a particular branch may not offer every listed model.
Age and licence rules
Every hirer and authorised driver must be at least 18 and under 75 for the whole hire. Each driver needs a licence suitable for the vehicle and JUCY’s written approval. They must carry the licence during the hire.
For Australian hires, JUCY says it accepts a P2 or Green P licence, but not a P1 provisional or learner licence. A licence that is not in English must be accompanied by an accredited English translation that JUCY finds acceptable.
Excess, deposits and payment
JUCY’s terms list four excess options: Risk Taker, Essentials, Comprehensive, and Windscreen and Tyre Cover. Your choice affects liability and inclusions, as well as bond requirements and charges. JUCY says the option must be selected when booking and ordinarily cannot be added or upgraded after pickup. Excess reduction does not replace travel insurance, and exclusions still apply.
JUCY’s public excess page gives one dated, model-specific example for Crib+ and Cloudbreak bookings confirmed or amended on or after 1 May 2026:
| Option | Displayed daily option cost | Displayed bond/excess figure |
|---|---|---|
| Risk Taker | $0 | $3,000 |
| Essentials | $35 | $1,500 |
| Comprehensive | $50 | $0 |
These figures are specific to the Crib+ and Cloudbreak table and do not represent JUCY’s general rates or excess schedule across its vehicle range.
A booking deposit is due when the booking request is made. JUCY calculates the amount at that point and does not publish one fixed deposit for all bookings. Paying only a deposit upfront may attract an additional fee. A security bond is separate from the booking deposit: depending on the payment choice and excess option, JUCY may require the bond by credit or debit card before releasing the vehicle. The booking and selected option determine the bond amount. If the stated conditions are met, JUCY says it refunds the balance, less any amounts owed, within 10 business days after the hire ends.
Fees are payable by the method in the booking confirmation or another method agreed with JUCY, and are due no later than seven days before pickup unless the confirmation says otherwise. Late payment can attract an extra fee, but the terms do not give one general amount. JUCY also requires valid credit or debit card details before vehicle collection, and card-processing costs may be passed on where permitted.
One-way hires
JUCY permits one-way travel between specified Australian branches, subject to approval. The fee depends on the vehicle and direction and is added to the quote. JUCY’s public one-way information does not give a single fee for all routes, so compare the quoted pickup and return branches before confirming a booking.
Compare quotes using the same dates and branches, and match the vehicle model, excess option and extras. Booking details determine the deposit and bond, excess and one-way charge, so compare those alongside the headline hire price.
